Iron Man 2 Cast Has Entertainment Weekly Covered
The sequel to 2008’s hugely successful Iron Man isn’t even due in theaters until next May, but anticipation is already ramping up.
Iron Man 2 stars Robert Downey Jr., Mickey Rourke and Scarlett Johansson grace the cover of the latest Entertainment Weekly, dressed in full costume as Iron Man, Whiplash and Black Widow, respectively.
Along with plot details (Whiplash teams up with weapons manufacturer Justin Hammer, played by Sam Rockwell, to take down Iron Man’s alter-ego, industrialist Tony Stark), the cast offers some thoughts about what distinguishes the budding Iron Man franchise from other big-screen superhero fare.
“We’re horny,” Downey offers. “Not, like, can’t-bring-your-kids horny, but just…horny.”
No easy task, when you’re covered head-to-toe in a form-fitting metal suit, but hey—that’s why they call it acting.
