Just under a month after pleading guilty to beating his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown is finally speaking about the incident.

In a videotaped apology, Brown says, "I cannot go into what happened, and most importantly am not going to sit here and make any excuses. I take great pride in me being able to exercise self control, and what I did was inexcusable. I am very saddened and very ashamed of what I have done. My mother and my spiritual teachers have taught me way better than that."

Brown concludes, "I intend to live my life so that I am truly worthy of the term 'role model.'"

To Me It Looked Like Does Words And Da Speech Didnt Really Come From His Thoughts And Mind..It Looked Like Someone Just Wrote It For Him.And He Rehersed It And Just Read It.If I Was Rihanna I Would Forgive Him But Then Again Not Get Back With Him Because If He Had Da Guts To Do It One Time He Would Have The Guts To Do It Again.

he should just give millions of dollars to a domestic abuse foundation instead, that would be more helpful Give me freaking break....it's over it's done! Let this kid learn from his mistake and move on. Should he pay the rest of his life? He didn't murder anyone he made a mistake he needs to work on it. We need to stay out of it!!

    so what!

how is that cute, its rehearsed so what if its rehearsed... if he would have made a statement & "freestyled" it, one little slipped could hurt him!! he needed to write down what he wanted to say so he can make sure he gets his point acrossed and also not slip up and say anything that will hurt him even more

Ok i usually never comment on these things BUT i had to... Ok Chris F'ed up BIG time by putting his hands on Rihanna... but some of u people need to realize that unfortunately domestic violence happens everyday to alot of people! just cuz hes famous everyone is all in his face about it! yeah hes supposed to be a role model and he meesed up! but people need to just leave them alone and let them handle it! its there personal lives! if Rihanna decides to get back with him then thats her problem! stop focusing on their personal lives and focus on the music they use to make and will make again! u can be mad all u want... but dont forget how talented they BOTH were and still are!

Chris Browns' so called apology should NEVER EVER have to take place at all if he was a REAL man. Whenever I date new guys, (well ok around the 3rd date) I mention "oh by the way, if you ever hit me you better kill me, because I'll tell ya now, either I will kill you or my family will." Then I get the usual "i would NEVER hit a woman"...which is OK if they tell the truth or not, as they have been warned. Now, getting back to Baloney Brown, if Rhianna goes back to him, she definitely will ned counseling! Rhianna you are beautiful, young and talented, don't let any man treat you that way. Respect yourself, ok, I'm off my soap box now! :)

If Chris Brown would of hit me- my older brother (whom is 6 foot 6, 300 pounds) would of just killed him and dumped his body in a trash bin some where. Chris is sorry for himself, he is sorry about his situation. When you beat a woman bloody, and just walk around like nothing happened for months and months, then you are a sick person A pathetic excuse for a man. I am glad that I am with a man that respects and loves me.
