New Freddy Krueger: First Look
He's back!
The remake of the horror classic A Nightmare on Elm Street won't be scaring your pants off on the big screen until next April, but here's a first look at Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen) in the iconic role of Freddy Krueger, in order to give you some preliminary willies.
The movie, which is being directed by Samuel Bayer, also stars Twilight's Kellan Lutz.

i think its awsome to see what other horrifying personalities freddy has yet to share with us. Robert gave us such a great freddy, i think jackie earl will show us a very scary, new side that weve never seen before.
Freddy has been my Fav horror classic since I was small. Even though I will watch the new film, I know it will be a disapointment. There is NO reason anyone should even consider of playing Freddy if your not Robert england. The new guy looks creepy and all, but he is by far a robert englund replacement! He's too short, his head is to big, and just doesn't have the Charisma as Robert Englund.

WOW, I agree with you both because as much as I hate too see them remake and take away from the classics, this guy( just looked up who he was ) would make the perfect Freddy, check him out in the movie Little Children. This will make Nightmare on Elmstreet just as creepy.
kim, go watch the watchmen, you won't be disappointed with who they cast for freddy...unless of course you are robert englund...or one of his children...than of course I can understand why you'd have your panties in a bunch.
Robert englund was/is freddy, changing the actor for the part of freddy so KILLS THIS, this movie will suck. i know this is a remake but not Robert as freddy that is a big NO NO.

f*cking Hell Ya! I love Freddy. I have watched every movie and TV series. It takes alot to scare me- so the producers will really need to up the violence. This will be a hit- I know it.
