Blake Fielder-Civil: "I Saved Amy Winehouse's Life"
Amy Winehouse's ex-husband is starting to talk.
Blake Fielder-Civil, whose divorce from the star was finalized last week, is claiming that he saved Amy from overdosing when the couple got a little too high in London in August 2007.
Blake reveals that the couple had been using heroin and crack cocaine without sleeping when it happened.
"We were sitting on the bed talking. Her eyes suddenly went blank. She started having a fit on the bed…She just passed out and stopped breathing," he says. "It was the most frightening thing I had ever seen. I felt sure I was watching her die right in front of me."
In his druggy haze, Fielder-Civil finally "came to his senses" and tried CPR on his sickly wife. "I was panicking but I somehow managed to open her mouth and breathe air down her throat. At first nothing happened, then she spluttered and I saw her chest rise," he recalls.
That's true love right there, people.
