Jackson Rathbone and Peter Facinelli Discuss Rachelle Lefevre's 'Eclipse' Ouster
Over the weekend at Twi-Con, Twilight stars Jackson Rathbone and Peter Facinelli offered their warm thoughts about Rachelle Lefevre, who's being replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in the role of Victoria for Twilight sequel Eclipse, which begins filming in Vancouver this month.
Quizzed on the departure of Lefevre, Rathbone noted, "Rachelle's a dear friend; we're gonna miss her terribly," adding that Lefevre is "an amazing actress and an amazing woman."
Asked whether he would want to collaborate with her in the future, Rathbone asserted, "I would love to work with Rachelle again."

Facinelli, meanwhile, seemed willing to make nice with new castmate Howard, even as he acknowledged that he's "deeply saddened" by Lefevre's exit from the movie series.
"I love [Lefevre] like a sister; it deeply saddens me," Facinelli offered, reports MTV.com. "But you know, the show must go on. We're going to embrace Bryce Dallas Howard—and I hope that the fans do, too."
That's probably easier said than done.

Rachelle should have kept herself, FREE, for the movie. She booked herself at the begging when they were shooting the scenes where Victoria was in the movie. It is Rachelle's fault that she was replaced. She tried to make Summit fit their schedule around her instead of her, doing everything she could to show up for the begging of the shoot.
I was really sad once I heard that they were replacing Rachelle.. Byrce Dallas Howard would have to be 1000 times as good to win over my heart.. I'll miss you Rachelle
It always looks crappy when they change an actor it just looks cheap I don't like it and I really like Rachelle as Victoria I've got nothing against Bryce but I just can't see her as Victoria.
Are Summit stupid!!!!Rachelle IS Victoria, she is the perfect and only one who could play that role.I think the people at Summit are sleazy for dropping her like that ,just because she isnt as well known as Bryce, who personally I think will be a boring version of Rachelle,she isnt fiery and beautiful enough.I will NOT be going to see Eclipse because of it.

I don't mean to upset any fans of Rachelle, but I don't see what's the big deal. As I recall from the film, the role consisted mostly of weird stares and had very little dialogue. Pretty much anyone who fits the physical description of Victoria could play the part! If you read the books you'd see her role gets bigger in the second and third book, which means her role is more important in the second third movies.
the problem is bryce doesn't even look like victoria is described in the books true, very true
i wish they kept her. i mean, eclipse is the last film she gets, so it makes sense for her to finish the part HER way

for me rachelle was the perfect victoria....idk why summit had to be so difficult about her scheduling conflict...idk...they didnt seem to have a problem when cam was filming another movie when twilight started....they're just jerks and they are deeply gonna regret replacing rachelle. i have nothing against the new girl, but its kinda hard for me to accpt her as vitoria. its gonna be hard and i feel many of us twi-hards are gonna hve a hard time simply cuz we had grown fondly to rachelle as victoria. i give bryce props to accepting to come along knowing its gonna be tough for her with us twi-hards.its just sucks cuz this was victorias movie...her time to shine...im just deeply saddened and hurt but like peter said the show must go on.......good luck rachelle we love you and are gonna miss you deeply!
I think it's a bad move on Summits part, but she should have been truthful and upfront from the beginning. It will be very sad not to see her wild mane of flame red hair. I wish her well
Rachelle was the perfect actress for the part. It's cool how people stand by her even though she was the villain.

I wish they would keep Rachelle for continuity reasons as well as she was great in that role. Nothing against Bryce. It will be strange having a different actress in the 3rd movie and it would have been the movie Rachelle had the meatiest role in. Very sad for her.

There is no reason to let her go and so many to keep her, there are a lot of fans upset about it and one of them It's so frustrating when this comment of reasignation turns up...." It deeply saddens me , but you know the show must go on..." So frustrating! Who control of this? the Wizard of OZZ?? Just people!! Can you just talk about it and make it up?
