Kelly Clarkson Doesn’t Have A Problem With Her Weight

Kelly Clarkson is an easy target for critics these days, but she says that she doesn’t care what anyone says about her body.

The 27-year-old Idol alum tells Self magazine, “When people talk about my weight, I’m like, ‘You seem to have a problem with it; I don’t. I’m fine!'”

She continues, “My happy weight changes. Sometimes I eat more; sometimes I play more.”

So what is she doing when she’s “playing” more? Her exercise of choice is golf, as well as Crossfit workouts, which includes sit-ups, squats and running. “It’s like bootcamp! You never work out more than 35 minutes, but it’s so intense … It makes me feel like G.I. Jane. It’s very empowering. I feel like I can whup ass!”

“I do it totally for my psyche,” she explains about her workouts. “I’m much better when those endorphins are going. It’s a release. And I also love food, so there’s a payoff!”
