Summit Entertainment: "Hey Boo Boo, Not So Fast on That Fifth Twilight Flick"
It seems that Eclipse newbie Boo Boo Stewart may have made a boo-boo right out of the gate.
Late last week, Stewart, who has just been cast to play Seth Clearwater in Twilight sequel Eclipse, intimated to Access Hollywood that there are plans for a fifth Twilight movie in the works, the most plausible explanation being that Breaking Dawn, the final installment in the Twilight series, would be broken up into two films.
The only problem being, Summit Entertainment has yet to confirm a fourth Twilight movie, let alone a fifth.
And they just couldn't let the inaccuracy stand.
"We appreciate our young actor's enthusiasm for the franchise and his role, but his comments about the number of films were unfortunately uninformed and not accurate," a rep for Summit tells Us Magazine. "However, the fans should rest assured the we're working with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen."
Hmm; interesting non-denial denial.

if they split up breaking dawn into two movies they will be able to add ( hopefully) as much detail as possible in the movies to make them as close to the book as possible. so this might be a good thing...

If they're going to make a fifith movie,they should call it, "Hey,let's see if these 30 year olds can still pass for 17." The way "Bella" and "Edward" keep throwing back those Heinies,I'm gonna go with NO. Besides,I'm pretty sure neither of them want to spend an entire decade playing the same character.

A fifth film would be ridiculous. I can accept the seventh Harry Potter book being split into two because there are so many details. Breaking Dawn isn't good enough to be split in two parts. I'm sorry, I like the Twilight Saga, but you have to know when to stop!
I wouldn't mind if they made a 5th movie, especially if Stephenie Meyer decided to finish Midnight Sun and it was based in that. You realize Midnight Sun isn't a continuation of the story right!? It is the same story of Twilight except from Edward's perspective. Therefore it would probably be more annoying than anything to have that be the fifth movie, considering Prequel type films are never any good.

Personally I think the fourth book has alot of detail and alot of things going on so a 5th movie would be nessciary. If they didnt break Breaking Dawn up alot of the movie would be cut out and it would suck. They need to be as close to the book as possible or to me they suck! i get what you are saying, there is ALOT of information in breaking dawn but there was too much boring infomation in that the movie can do without. sometime when you are turning something into a movie you have to be careful not to bore the audience. if they edit it well, the movie can still do the book justice.
Breaking Dawn was so bad, I didn't even finish reading it. It's terribly written, completely idealistic and just plain stupid. I know what you mean about it being unrealistic, even though it's a fantasy novel in the first place. Bella and Edward need a house near school? Ohmagod, Edward already has one, how convenient! Bella's dad way too calmly accepts that some peacoat wearing douchebag turns his daughter into a vampire? Yeah, don't think so. The baby thing, way too over the top, and totally unnecessary.
Honestly, I think that it would be a very bad idea to split BD in 2. I know a lot of Twilight fans won't agree with me, but I thought BD was really bad. It was boring and totally unrealistic. I know I shouldn't take something about vampires & werewolves to be realistic, but I think the baby thing was a bit too much. And the Volturi fight wasn't all that exciting. I really felt as if that book was JUST to have all the main characters have a happy ending. I think it was kind of unnecessary. I'm really not sure if it would be a good idea to split the worst book of the whole saga up in 2 films. But that's just my opinion.
I like how twilight the movies are being release. there's not much of a waiting period (unlike harry potter's series.... i'm pretty sure people are losing interest and are frustrated with changes from the pages to screen cos the director/script writer seem to alter the best bits). It would be nice if breaking dawn was condense into one movie.

definately there should be 2 movies... one for the whole bella getting pregnant and the struggle and then the other for the fighting of the volturi what fighting , there was no fighting at all.
That book was so horrible, it does not deserve to be stplit in 2, I hate twilight because it was badly written, but Eclipse was okay, it should be a decent end for the movie. Or do they plan to have a movie out after Harry Potter ends. Meyer is so greedy, she is thinking about writting New moon on Jacob's pov.

I wouldn't mind about the 5th movie either. Summit is denying it now, but I think BD will be divided in 2 mvovies. Because, just like the person before me said, the 4th book is the longest one and there's a lot of essential information that must be reported at the movie. So, I guess they won't be able to make it at only one unless it lasts three hours long or even more... LOL
