InStyle has reached out to some of today's hottest designers for their take on Bella Swan's wedding gown from the fourth Twilight book, Breaking Dawn.
In the Stephanie Meyer book, Bella's dress is described as an early 1900s design with modern tweaks to the train and veil.
Bella's mother tells Bella when she sees the dress, "You look like you just stepped out of an Austen movie. It's gorgeous! So graceful, so elegant."

This one is the closest to what I had in mind... so if they choose to make this one or the last one (or something they come up with that's a nice mix of the two) I would be satisfied.
I love this one (last one) however, it does need a veil being that there is a veil in the book.
i like the last picture because its classic & elegant belle would be amazing in this gown knowing she is a simple person

Really pretty and simple! For Bella it would be great. She is supposed to look really beautiful and timeless and you don't want a dress that will take away from Bella's own beauty.
I love this! I lik that it isn't covering her whole neck! She couldn't challenge edward to bite it if it wasn't showing..you know?
this one fits the book description best tbh. some of them don't even have long sleeves! and one is backless! everyone knows that the dress in the book has pearl buttons up the back!

I prefer 7 and 9; the 5 is unthinkable, that is a dress for a sophisticated woman, not the teenager Bella Swan; I think Summit should look for a design of the catalan designer Rosa Clará. She designs the most romantic and beautiful wedding dresses I have seen so far.

Third and this one are definately the top ones but my vote goes to number 3, though this is more what Bella would wear, but remember she didn't take any part in choosing it sooo... I think N3 has more sexy in it and I think Edward would like it more :D :D
My favorite and I think it meets all the criteria. Plus it has to be the combination of old and some modern, remember Alice worked on the dress too? so this one should do. Love it

This is by far the best dress that I have seen. It completely matches the description of her dress in Breaking Dawn. Plus, it looks as if it could be something from the 1900s. & it's Edward's style as well. I love this. I'd love it for myself sometime :)

the wedding is in breaking dawn. and none of these dresses work. they aren't bella. it's supposed to be simplistic early 1900s remember?? some people need to stop putting their two cents in... let them finish filming eclipse first and figure out when they are going to be BD..
