Chris Brown Parties Post-Sentencing With Michael Jackson Tribute
You just managed to avoid what could have become one of the ugliest celebrity trials on record. How do you celebrate?
If you’re Chris Brown, you hit the club and pay homage to deceased King of Pop Michael Jackson.
Us Magazine reports that Brown—who was sentenced on Tuesday to five years probation and six months community labor—was spotted on Tuesday night partying down at West Hollywood watering hole Guys and Dolls, where he did a little impromptu tribute to Jackson, who died in late June.
An onlooker reports that the “Run It!” singer busted out a version of Jacko’s “Dirty Diana” to the great delight of the crowd. “He stood up on the back of the booth when the song came on, got a mic and not only sung, but danced his a– off,” clubgoer Cory Honickman reveals. “It was insane and no one could look away. He is incredibly talented.”
Afterward, Brown announced, “There was only one King of Pop. We love you, Michael.”
Readers may recall that Brown contributed to the Michael Jackson tribute song “Better on the Other Side” with The Game and Sean “Diddy” Combs shortly after Jackson’s death.
Brown might as well get the partying out of his system; he’s going to be pretty busy over the next few months, cleaning up graffiti and washing cars as part of his sentence.
Even so, was it appropriate for Chris Brown to be so celebratory so soon after his sentencing? Share your thoughts in the comments section!
