Robert Pattinson: Risking Everything for K-Stew?
Sources tell OK! Magazine that R-Pattz is prepared to butt heads with Summit Entertainment over his relationship with K-Stew, jeopardizing his stardom if need be.
Concerned that Pattinson and Stewart's real-life romance will wreak havoc with the storyline of Twilight sequel New Moon—which focuses on the relationship between Stewart's Bella Swan character and Taylor Lautner's hunky werewolf Jacob Black—studio brass have reportedly ordered Rob and Kristen to keep their romance on the downlow.
"The producers took Rob and Kris aside and told them to keep their relationship under wraps for a few more months,” an insider reveals. “But they’re so much in love, they can’t keep their hands off each other.”
A source from the set of Eclipse, which is currently filming, adds, "They’re crazy about each other, and they want to shout it from the rooftops,. But they’re also part of this massive machine called Twilight and producers have this thing timed with scientific precision. They don’t want Rob and Kristen to tell the world about their relationship until the time is right."
But while Pattinson has been compliant with the studio's requests so far, another source insists that being told to hide his passion for K-Stew is the last straw for the 23-year-old actor.
"Trust me; he generally does what he’s told by producers,” says the source, “but this kid has a strong will of his own, and if he wants to walk around Vancouver with Kristen in front of the world, he’s going to.”
Indeed, R-Pattz and K-Stew were spotted leaving a Vancouver concert by his by his buddy Bobby Long on Monday, heading out together in the same cab, which can't possibly make Summit happy.
