Rachelle Lefevre: "Devastated" by Twilight Ouster, But Moving On
Rachelle Lefevre is making lemonade out of the lemons that show-biz has handed her.
The Twilight actress—who was replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in the role of Victoria for the upcoming Twilight sequel Eclipse—spoke to Access Hollywood at the EW pre-Emmys in West Hollywood. Though Lefevre admits that being replaced was "devastating," she's moving on.
Rachelle says that she's even learned to use the experience in her upcoming projects:
"[The firing was] the kind of thing that, obviously, you can't anticipate in a career. It was devastating. I didn't see it coming. But to be honest, going off and getting to do Barney's Version with Paul Giamatti was such a beautiful experience. And I got to play a character who's really emotionally unhinged. So I got to channel all my sadness and devastation into this character. It was a good place to land."
That's the spirit, Rachelle!
