Kristen Stewart to Join the Marines?
Will Twilight beauty Kristen Stewart be donning military fatigues in the near future? It’s more likely than you think.
Coming Soon recently interviewed actor James Woods, who dished on a project he plans to direct, An American Girl, which he approached Stewart about “before she was famous.” Since reading the script, Woods says, Stewart has been very eager to get the movie made.
According to Woods, the story follows a recent high-school graduate who, after getting involved in booze and drugs, finds herself at the center of a sex scandal in her hometown and joins the Marines to escape the shame.
Woods explains, “The ironic thing is that along the way she starts learning these values she doesn’t expect…It’s not like she’s a gung-ho Marine.”
In Woods’ opinion, the role is “a slam-dunk Oscar for” Stewart.

Because we’ve done the research and we’ve seen the other movies thats how we know. It is true that many are so jealous of Kristen and she can act. Want Proof? Read the long list of notable people who’ve requested to work with her. Look at the roles shes been offered and chosed to do. u can’t refute or say anything about that. Obviously they and many others think she is talented or she wouldn’t get these offers right? won lead actress award. Just wait and see you will be proven worng. It does come down to jealousy and hatred because if not why all the bashing and hate what did she personally do the haters? nothing they are jealous and you should never be jealous of anyone or anything. Its not a nice trait to have be happy and appreciate what you’ve have you were given them for a reason. And she is badass if you actually took the time to research and observe her in interviews you would seen this. yes she may be a bit akward at times but thats why we like her she is brilliant and unique; beautiful in her own way. stop the hating and negativity

You know whats pitiful, thinking your opinion matters to any of the directors that have cast her to do a movie with them…cause really it doesn’t. Your critique on her acting skills will never matter to her and while shes earning her doe you’ll still be tapping away on that computer of yours, probably hating on her skills, and her dress sense.

KIm-Screw you. I worked my a$$ off in the Marines for four years, spending much of that time away from family and friends, even living in Japan for a year. I was stationed at Camp Pendleton on 9/11 and all of us worried what was going to happen to us because we knew it was going to lead to war. Friends of mine DIED to protect your right to sit on your ass and be an absolute b!tch to people on a public forum who express their personal opinions. What have you done that compares?!
I have every right to say I think Kristen is a no talent hack druggie who couldn’t act her way out of a cardboard box. kris might have the same expression all the time but that doesnt necessarily mean we can expect the same acting style when she potrays this movie..angelina had the same expression too, but look what she had pulled off in GIA..we;ll never know..i have faith to kstew..one lucky young superstar to be consider in this kind of movie genre..i can see her as future jodie foster..her mom in panic room :)

Yeah…BEFORE twilight…which makes it sound like he doesn’t want her anymore. twilight has had a NEGATIVE affect on her career. And directors are not going to want to deal with the baggage that she comes with now. How do you know shes a druggie? And why don’t you tell Jodie Foster or Sean Penn or James Wood or James Gandolfini that she can’t act. Im sure actually Im pretty certain that they would have a completely different opinion to yours. Why do you asume that because she apparently has “one facial expression” that she would do the same for this movie? Why are you judging her when the film hasn’t even been picked up or made yet? I think you should stop assuming that just because you were in the marines that you know everything? You may have experienced a lot, but you’re def no expert when it comes to casting!
Kristen is an amazing actress. She has a great career ahead. I will always support her. This project will be awesome for her.

She’s awful. There is no way she could get an oscar. She has no range with her acting. If you watch her movies basically you would think the characters are all the same.

Kristen is hott.. id so see it.. i can picture her being good at is. And i think she is a good actress.. people are just portraying her image in front of the camera not when she is acting. I’m not sure if she has what it takes, and I think the people saying “she can’t act” or “she’d be terrible” are a bit unfair. most people have only seen her in Twilight and I believe you have to see an actor in several movies before making a judgment about their acting ability. Some actors have had their performances crushed by a bad director. I’m no fan of Kristen Stewart’s, I’m saying let’s just give the girl a chance in a few different movies before making definitive judgments.
