Michael Jackson's Kids Score a Reality Series
The children of deceased King of Pop Michael Jackson have taken their first step toward what passes for fame in this modern age.
Us Magazine reports that Jackson's kids—Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7—will appear on The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty, an A&E reality show slated to run in December.
Says the show's executive producer Jodi Gomes,
"We have 23 cast members with the last name Jackson. They've done a great job opening up about losing a brother."
But not everybody in the Jackson family is happy about the series. A source says that Michael's oldest sister, Rebi, "feels Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on this show." (The deceased singer was notoriously adamant about maintaining his children's privacy, to the point of making them wear masks on their public outings.)
The source adds that Jackson's mother Katherine "is just going along with things."
Move over, Gosselins; it sounds like you're about to be surpassed in the televised family drama department.
