Robert Pattinson Wants Gus Van Sant for Breaking Dawn

Robert Pattinson sure does like to think ahead.

The Twilight sequel New Moon hasn’t even been released yet, and already R-Pattz is looking forward to Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final installment (or is it?) in the vampire series.

OK! Magazine reports that R-Pattz would like Milk director Gus Van Sant to helm the movie, opining,

“It’s [Breaking Dawn] all about teenage love and obsessions. I think Gus Van Sant would be great to do it.”

Moreover, in making his preference known, Pattinson let slip that Breaking Dawn might be lensed in Portland, Oregon, as opposed to New Moon and Eclipse’s shooting grounds of Vancouver:

“He shoots everything in Portland. He’s good at making it look beautiful.”

Oh, come now, R-Pattz; how could any movie with you in it not be beautiful?

Last week, the actor revealed that Breaking Dawn will probably begin filming next fall.

Let us know in the comments section: Do you think Van Sant would be a good choice to direct Breaking Dawn? If not him, who?
