Adam Lambert Talks Gaga, Britney Spears

Adam Lambert caught up with Idolator at Wednesday night's Hot In Hollywood party, where he was named "Glam God Of The Year," and he dished out some juice!

On working with Lady GaGa:

"You know it’s really just an energy thing. Doing all these songs, different producers, different writers, it’s always a different vibe in the world, and Gaga is so free and expressive and eccentric that she brought that out in me, she encouraged that side to come out. She was definitely on the other side of the recording studio, the other side of the glass, egging me on. “More! Crazier! Go further with it!” It was fun. I think we caught the spirit of rock ‘n roll in there."

On the recent Britney Spears lip-synching controversy:

"They haven’t been watching her career for the past few years? That’s what she does."

On Kris Allen's new CD:

"It’s fantastic. I got a copy from a publicist. What I love about his album is he really stayed true to what made him so fantastic on the show because he’s an incredible musician, he’s got a beautiful voice and he’s honest. I  think those songs really captured his spirit."

NICE of you to use the worst shot of him possible and quote HALF of his answer you jer.k! "Britney is a fantastic performer, I think she’s a lot of fun, and gorgeous. She’s dancing! And something when you’re dancing really hard, it’s hard to sing. She’s gotta do what she’s gotta do."

Jerry!! He didn't insult her, this people just posted a part of the interview, he said that she is an amazing dancer, and it's hard to sing and dance at the same time, and she's beautiful and great in what she does... although, he was actually saying the true, like, it's stupid how people complains about that when she has always done it since 2001...

Well, Adam, I was looking forward to being a fan, but that comment about Britney turned my opinion. You're new, kiddo, so don't come out with your first CD, insulting people. Everyone who heard you sing at the AMA's talked about how awful you sounded vocally, so perhaps lip synching would have improved the show. Say what you will about Brit, but she knows how to put on a show. Plus it is common knowledge that she always sings live when she is doing her ballads. She chooses a backing track for her dance songs because she... gasp... dances, which is part of her show. That is why she is one of the hottest entertainers in the world. If she truely was a talentless, lip synching performer, she'd have faded out ten years ago... much like you will. Your first non AI performance and you had to shock? Britney at least waited three years before taking that route, looks like you might be a bit desperate.
