It was undoubtedly a living nightmare for her, as it would be for anyone in that situation. Equally nightmarish is not being able to control the problem that gets a person into a situation like that in the first place. Hopefully now she’s past that and won’t return any time soon, if ever.

I don’t understand the point of this. Is anyone expecting a mug shot to be the same as a glamour shot? Does anybody expect a full makeup and airbrush job with a MUG SHOT? Or do they not even understand the purpose of a mug shot? OF COURSE nobody looks their best for a mug. Maybe I’m missing something. It’s like “Let’s find someone not looking their best and vulnerable and make fun of them.” Count me out.
