Brittany Murphy Music May Be Released Posthumously

We may not have heard the last of Brittany Murphy yet.

Music executives are looking to unearth music by the Sin City actress, who passed away on Sunday at the age of 32.

Though primarily known for her cinematic career, Murphy dabbled in music, recording the successful single “Faster Kill Pussycat” with Paul Oakenfeld three years ago, and also recorded covers of “Somebody to Love” and “Boogie Wonderland” from the film Happy Feet.

Murphy also performed in the band Blessed Soul with actor Eric Balfour in the early ’90s.

And now sources say that music execs are looking to see what other tunes might be in the vault for possible release.

According to a source,

“Obviously this isn’t a Michael Jackson thing, but people are definitely interested in Brittany and her story.”
