Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's Christmas Blow-Up: New Details and 911 Call
It's starting to sound like it was a very hairy Christmas at the Sheen household this year.
TMZ has obtained a sworn statement from Aspen police officer Rick Magnuson, who arrested Two and a Half Men actor Charlie Sheen on Christmas morning after he allegedly threatened his wife, Brooke Mueller, with a knife.
According to Magnuson's affidavit, Sheen said the two had begun arguing at approximately 3:30 a.m., after Mueller became jealous that Sheen had "shared a song for his daughter whom he fathered with another woman." Eventually the argument escalated to the point that Mueller threatened to divorce Sheen and take their twin sons.
Though Sheen denied pushing or slapping Mueller during the brouhaha, he did admit to Magnuson that they had both slapped each other on the arm during the altercation, and he conceded to breaking Mueller's eyeglasses in front of her.
Mueller, meanwhile, offered a very different version of the events, telling one officer that, after she threatened to divorce him, Sheen became enraged, grabbing her by the upper throat and straddling her on the bed while pointing a knife at her throat and threatening,
"You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I'll kill you."
According to Mueller, Sheen also added,
"Your mother's money means nothing. I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won't leave any trace."
Though Sheen says he never threatened Mueller with a knife, he did admit to having a folding knife in a travel bag which was outside the couple's bedroom. Magnuson then examined the knife, which according to his affidavit had a four-inch blade and was locked in the open position.
Magnuson goes on to note in his statement that he observed "red marks on the upper part of the front of [Mueller's] neck," which Mueller claimed were the result of Sheen's alleged assault.
In the meantime, E! Online has released the frantic phone call that Mueller placed to 911 on Christmas morning. Though apparently intoxicated (Mueller reportedly registered a .13 blood-alcohol content during a subsequent BAC test), the frightened spouse tearfully relayed to the 911 operator,
"My husband had me...with a knife, and I'm scared for my life, and he threatened me." Mueller then pleaded, "I've got to file this report. I thought I was going to die for one hour." (You can listen to the 911 message here.)
Wow. Happy holidays, everyone! Can't wait to see what they have planned for New Year's!
