In 2009, we witnessed the social-messaging service Twitter boom to the forefront of pop-culture, largely fueled by the increased sale of smartphones and the appeal of quickly posting self-serving blasts of 140 characters to anyone who might be following you.

Wow, people need to grow up. You have no life if you sit here and hate on Miley Cyrus all day long. First of all, she is seventeen. I see seventeen year old girls doing worse things than taking a few racy photos. If another seventeen year old girl posted pictures of themselves showing pretty much every part of their body except their boobs and butt everyone would be like “wow that is a nice picture.” If Miley shows an inch of skin she’s a slut? Her job is an actor/singer. Last I checked her job was not to be a perfect role model for little girls. She’s not doing any of that on the TV show that the young children watch, so after that it doesn’t become her problem. She can do whatever she wants to do, she’s human being just like us. I’m sure all of you people talking sh!t have done way worse things anyways. Get over it people, she’s real. At least she’s not scared to be herself, she doesn’t care what any of you have to say about her.
