Usher Should Really Be More Careful With His Valuables
Feeling depressed about the dismal economy? Here's a fact that should cheer you up: Usher is so rich, he apparently keeps $1 million worth of goodies in his car on a regular basis.
The recently divorced R&B singer's GMC Yukon was broken into near the Lenox Mall in Atlanta on December 14, yielding the thieves a cool mil in merchandise, including jewelry, clothing, furs and electronics.
The singer is reportedly particularly upset about the loss of two laptops, as they contained new songs that he's been working on.
At the time of the break-in, Usher and an associate were shopping at an AT&T store. Quite the expensive cell-phone upgrade.
According to a witness, a man in a burgundy Chevy Impala with tinted windows popped the door of the SUV and made off with the goods, so if you're in the Atlanta area and see a vehicle matching that description...see if the driver will cut you in for a share of the booty.
Just kidding; you should totally alert the authorities, because that's just the right thing to do.
