La Toya Jackson Wants Simon Cowell's 'Idol' Job. Let the Insanity Begin!
How do you fill Simon Cowell's soon-to-be-vacated American Idol seat, and fill the nuttiness void created by Paula Abdul's departure last year?
La Toya Jackson, as always, has a solution.
Michael Jackson's oft-unhinged sister recently lobbied Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe for an AI guest-judging spot, but now that Cowell has decided to take himself out of the picture, she tells TMZ that she wants a permanent place at the table:
"I would LOVE to be a judge on American Idol. I would love to have a chance for the public get to know the real me. I would be thrilled."
Oh, so would we, La Toya. So would we. We can only imagine what kind of kooky conspiracy theories she could dream up for why Larry "Pants on the Ground" Pratt didn't make the cut.
Would you watch La Toya on American Idol? Oh, who are we kidding—of course you would. But why not make it official in the comments section anyway?
