Susan Boyle Finds Intruder in Home, Scares Him Off With Mating Call
If it’s true that you haven’t really made it until random strangers start rummaging through your home, let’s all welcome Susan Boyle to the big time!
The Scottish songbird returned to her Blackburn home last night to find a man—a man!—in her pad. Police quickly apprehended the interloper and released him without charges, pending further inquiries.
According to Boyle’s rep, the singer—who was returning from recording her part for Simon Cowell’s version of REM’s “Everybody Hurts” to benefit Haiti—was “shocked but unhurt” by the event.
The intruder has presumably calmed down after his frightening encounter too.
