Amy Winehouse Is Starting a Clothing Line for the Style-Conscious Crack Enthusiast
Ever get the urge to look like Amy Winehouse? Really, you have? First of all, what's wrong with you? Secondly, today's your lucky day!
WWD reports that the "Rehab" singer and tabloid mainstay—who's typically not known for her fashion sense—is nonetheless launching a clothing line with British label Fred Perry, due in stores in October. (Check out some of the designs in our gallery.) Gushes Richard Martin, marketing director for the label,
“Amy has been wearing Fred Perry for years, so we were aware she was a genuine fan of the brand. Amy has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand’s own historical reference points.”
And so begins the greatest fashion collaboration since Dolce and Gabbana. Or at least Lindsay Lohan and Ungaro. The only question is, will the designs contain hidden pockets for crack rocks and stems?
