Miley Cyrus Might Have To Defend Her Boyfriend From Her Mom

Miley Cyrus Might Have To Defend Her Boyfriend From Her Mom-photo

Well, this isn't weird AT all. So, apparently Miley Cyrus' fantastic mom Tish has a crush on her 19-year-old Australian boyfriend/man candy Liam Hemsworth. Not just that, she was the one who encouraged them to hook up while on the set of The Last Song this past summer. This family is really something else.

In a new interview for Entertainment Tonight, Miley spilled the deets. Why she did, we're not too sure.

"I don't know who had a bigger crush on him at the beginning, my mom or me. My mom was like, 'No, he is cute--he is!'" Miley says.

"I was like, 'No, maybe he's just too pretty. I don't want to be with someone who's better looking than me. That's, like, awkward,'" the star recounts.

Not only that, but her mom, who was an exec producer on the set, was standing there for all the kissing scenes. Liam explained,

"Her mom was watching. Her grandma was also watching, which was really funny. [The grandma] was on set everyday and she'd be right at the monitor with the headphones on… She should have been directing the film. She knew more about it than anyone."

Now that's just plain weird. Do you agree?

I'm also 20 Read between the lines, and I think Miley is just an average 17 year old celeb, you can go look on any web-site and for every celebrity there are people who want to log online and write mean things about them. It doesn't matter who the celebrity is, what they are good at, how they look, what age they are, or how "perfect" they act. Just as every celebrity has a fan-club, they all also have haters, its just a fact of life. You cant change their minds, they have nothing better to do then let the world know how much they hate that celebrity who they don't even know. There are celebrities that I'm not a fan of but you wont see my name on sites trashing them, its just called being a decent person. The comment section is open for making comments about the article not about calling little girls sluts. Some people just never grow up. And I'm not gonna check back on this article, so save yourself the trouble and don't try to reply with meaningless comments about how you think you have lives or that you are decent people. Thanks :)

The Religious Right can also refer to the religiously motivated right wing movements such as Christian right, who believe God created the universe. Amongst others. They refuse to believe anything other then that. Just like you. You refuse to accept that Miley Cyrus can't act, is still a virgin and has beautiful teeth. Just some examples. I can go on forever. Also, she doesn't have "strong family support", they just want a ride on her 15-minutes-of-fame train. Which will reach it's final destination soon.Besides, what fun would there be if they wrote articles about Miley Cyrus that doesn't give us a chance to mock her. Because even with "factual, accurate and constructive" articles, we would still laugh at her.Amen. LOL ;) suzana l and readbetweenthelines are morons. you rock!

[quote=Suzana L.]Oh boy... First of all, I could care less about her intimate life. It's hers and she can do whatever she wants with it. Secondly, I am still trying to figure out how anybody could possibly portray my first comment as one coming from "religiously motivated right wing movements". Not once did I mention her virginity, her beliefs, her faith or lack thereof. Therefore, in case I wasn't clear enough in my first comment, I will rephrase it so as to adapt to your seemingly lessened intellectual abilities: Ms. Miley Cyrus is a 17-year-old actress/singer who became known through the TV show Hannah Montana. Whether she can or can't act is irrelevant, since the show has proven insanely successful with its target audience. Her singing abilities are also irrelevant, since so many of her albums have achieved platinum status. Therefore, sweetheart, what I was trying to convey with my first comment is that, instead of criticizing someone's family (and worse, wrongfully so), the media should commend the fact that such a successful artist has her closest family members around her. And for your information, her so-called "15 minutes of fame" have now lasted five years. In addition, I have to agree with you when you say that, even if they did post "factual, accurate and constructive" articles, you'd still laugh at her - unfortunately some people have nothing better to do than to mock a 17-year-old artist. And thanks to "read between the lines" for the comment. get of the internet grandma. no one cares what your saying. we all know the truth about slutty cyrus.

I would LOVE to think that America has a little more brains than this and is actually smart enough to recognize the varying tones of speech and other language resources used by people around the world in order to convey a message. As "read between the lines" previously said, Miley usually favors one called SARCASM. America would appreciate it, Ms. Waldman - author of this article - if you would please familiarize yourself with said language resources and write articles that are FACTUAL, accurate and constructive. Please keep that to yourself, the religious right already hates us enough.

u people r too serious....CAN'T U TAKE A JOKE?!?! its called sarcasm! miley is famous for it. u people need to learn when someone is being serious and when they r kidding around. watch the interviews yourself. the videos (that didnt get posted by celebuzz to make miley look bad) r the ET ones. stop taking things so literally! if u think about it, does it even make sense that miley would be serious about any of that? and grandma is on set for all of miley's things. she's a support and i think its cute, not weird at all. and i think its commendable that miley is able to make out with a boy in front of her parents. it shows their open and trusting relationship.
