Octomom May Lose Her Octo-home
Looks like Nadya "Octomom" Suleman may become the latest victim of America's mortgage crisis. The uber-breeder/tabloid media curiosity is reportedly in heavy arrears on her La Habra, California, home, and may be foreclosed on as early as Tuesday, leaving her and her 14 children without a place to stay. (Anyone got a couch or 20 to spare?)
According to Amer Haddadin, who sold her the house and still holds the bank note on it, Suleman failed to pony up for a balloon payment of $450,000 on March 10, and is behind an additional $4,139 in monthly payments. And since that's putting a serious financial strain on him, Haddadin is giving Suleman until the end of next Tuesday to pay up, including interest and attorney's fees, or he'll be suing her for foreclosure.
Bet Suleman wishes she signed up for that dating show with Jon Gosselin right about now. Of course, choosing between rendering her children homeless and going out with Papa Jon would be a King Solomon-sized decision for any woman.
