I really hate NIcholas Sparks' books. They're always really unnecessarily sad, and he's just trying way too hard to make sob stories. Like The Notebook? It sucked. The movie was awesome though. Completely different than the book, and thank god. I'm guessing the same will be true with the Last Song. I read the book, and was NOT impressed. But I'll probably like the movie.

the book is sooo good...i highly doubt the movie will be as good as it...but then again is any movie that was originally a book any good? not usually Actually they contacted Nicholas Sparks to write the screenplay first. Then he wrote the book. So the book was made around the movie.Just an FYI
