Ke$ha Goes on Apology Tour, Says “Sorry” to Justin Bieber Too
Has Ke$ha enrolled in a 12-step program for loose-tongued publicity addicts? Because it sure seem like she’s neck deep in the “making amends” stage right about now. Hot on the heels of apologizing for the indelicate remarks about Britney Spears in her song “Styrofoam,” the “Tik Tok” singer has issued another mea culpa—this time to Canadian singing sensation Justin Bieber, after she trashed the My World heartthrob in an interview with Maxim magazine.
Discussing her appearance with the 16-year-old My World warbler at this year’s Grammys, Ke$ha declared,
“He’s a tiny little baby! I would’ve loved to push him around onstage in a carriage.”
Well, Beiber Nation must have shook their rattles loudly and angrily enough to think twice (or maybe she just got a very angry phone call from one particular three-year-old Biebs super-fan), because shortly after the interview became public, Ms. “Blah Blah Blah” took to her Twitter account to seek forgiveness:
“dear justin b i am so sorry if my bad joke has hurt your feelings.u r obviouslyso talented andi would never mean to offend u.i think u r rad.”
That’s awesome, Ke$ha; realizing that you have a problem with trashing people for attention is the first step toward recovery. And whenever you’re ready to apologize to the rest of us for that horrendous performance on American Idol, we’ll be waiting with open arms.
