Anna Paquin Declares She's Bisexual, Enjoys Both Vampires and Humans (VIDEO)
Sorry, Ricky Martin; it appears that Anna Paquin has just stolen your thunder. The True Blood star—who's engaged to her co-star Stephen Moyer—has outed herself as bisexual in a newly released Public Service Announcement for the organization True Colors Fund, which lobbies for equal rights for people of all sexual orientations.
In the PSA, which also features appearances by Clay Aiken, Elton John, Wanda Sykes and Whoopi Goldberg, among many others, Paquin—who plays Sookie Stackhouse on the HBO vampire drama—declares,
“I’m Anna Paquin. I’m bisexual, and I give a damn.”
("Give a Damn" is the slogan of the Foundation's campaign.)
The revelation, which was taped at Los Angeles' Standard Hotel on January 30, reportedly took even those close to Paquin by surprise. Presumably, her fiancé Moyer wasn't among them.
Check out Paquin's declaration in the video below:
