'Dynasty' Actor John Forsythe Has Died At Age 92
Actor John Forsythe has died after battling cancer for the past year. He died due to complications from pneumonia. He was 92 years old.
Forsythe was a huge star in the '70s and '80s when he played the voice of Charlie on the TV show Charlie's Angels and the stoic patriarch Blake Carrington in Dynasty, a role which earned Forsythe two Golden Globes.
Forsythe enjoyed a long career in television since he first started acting in 1943. He appeared on Starlight Theatre, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and he even had his own show from 1965 to 1966 titled The John Forsythe Show.
His family and wife ask that in lieu of flowers that mourners send donations to the American Cancer Society. There will be no public service.
