‘Jersey Shore’ Creators Looking To Anger New Ethnicities With ‘The Persian Version’

If you are Persian, into fist-pumping and look up to Snooki and The Situation as role models then MTV is looking for you! The creators of the hit reality show The Jersey Shore are looking for Persian-Americans living in Los Angeles to star in the very literally titled Jersey Shore spin-off, The Persian Version.

The casting team for the show sent out a casting call looking for “outrageous, outspoken and proud Persian-Americans” for a show that would “show the world that being Persian-American is a celebration of the American dream.” Do you think young, club-going Persians will be offended that they are thought of as being the West Coast version of guidos?
