With a glut of men-in-tights movies currently in production (and with Kick-Ass opening in theaters this Friday), we present 17 superhero movies that were like kryptonite to the audience's enjoyment.

I can't agree on this one: it's the best PUNISHER movie (don't start with the missing skull, did people complain about the X-men costumes?) and it's also a good independent exploitation flick, dark and gritty, not trying to be politically correct etc. And Dolph rules as the tormented and badass Frank Castle!
Uh soapstef have YOU read the comics? On more than one occasion Fantastic Four was called "The World's Silliest Comic Magazine". There's always been good amounts of humor in the comics and from what I saw it wasn't over the top in the movie. It's not the best comic movie out there but it certainly isn't one of the worst.
This movie got a bad rap for stupid reasons. It was quirky for sure but totally in line with Raimi's sense of style and totally within the bounds of Spider-Man's comics.

I've taken craps that stink less than this movie. The only way to make this movie worse is if they added Ja Rule to the cast. I can't believe some people actually try to defend this abortion of a movie.

It is the worst I've seen, Superhero films are not my cup of tea, but I can have fun and be entertained by one. This one, however, I even fell asleep in the theater and my dad yelled at me because he said he "wasted his money".

It's outrageous how they included Batman and Robin in this list! That is the first Batman film to revolutionise the whole concept of superhero movies! Godammit! It was a good movie(considering it was made on a shoestring budget). That movie,along with,"Blade",made money for Marvel so that they could have enough money to make some film called,"Spider Man."
