What, did you think award season was over? The sun never sleeps on honoring the talented celebrities that occupy Earth.

The Tony Award nominations were announced today, and with the recent wave of film stars taking their turn on the Broadway stage, it is no wonder that the nominations list is full of names that are perhaps more recognizable to people who aren't avid theater-goers.

Big-name stars like Denzel Washington, Jude Law, Scarlett Johansson, and Christopher Walken topped some of the nominations.
