Pam Anderson Enshrined in Bronze, the Way God Intended (PHOTO)
No, this isn't a still from the upcoming Star Wars XV: The Bikini Hags Strike Back. It's just the latest creation by British sculptor Marc Quinn, depicting former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, doubled and immortalized in polished bronze.
The creation, titled "The Ecstatic Autogenesis of Pamela," is currently on display at a London art exhibition and, according to its creator—who made a similarly eye-catching statue of Kate Moss some years back—it's a tribute to Anderson's penchant for transformation through surgery:
"What Pamela has done is use surgery and transformation within the mainstream cultural context, whereas everyone else in the [exhibit] has struck out on their own."
And what does the subject herself think of this tribute? Pammy says she was honored to serve as Quinn's muse:
"I didn't even ask what he wanted to do with me. I would have done anything."
Why do we get the feeling that this is far from the first time she's uttered those words?
