Lea Michele Says She’s Sorry for Being Such a Diva

Finally, a celebrity apology that’s actually been verified. Glee charmer Lea Michele has taken to her Twitter page to issue a mea culpa to celebrity photographer Patrick McMullan at last week’s Time 100 gala. As reported earlier, Michele got rather huffy at McMullan after he snapped her picture and asked her name for identification purposes. According to a witness, Michele pulled a particularly catty rendition of the “Don’t you know who I am?” routine, sardonically offering fake names until McMullan became exasperated and walked away.

But the 23-year-old Glee-ster has apparently seen the error of her ways, Tweeting,

“Big apology to @PatrickMcMullan. Totally didn’t expect you (or anyone) @Time 100 to know who I was w/all the amazin people there:) …Made a silly joke that didn’t go over, so sorry. It was such an incredible night and I was beyond honored and thrilled to be there:)”

And she ended it with a smiley-face, people, so you know she’s being totally sincere.

So all is forgiven, right? We certainly hope so. Because there’s no way we could fully enjoy Glee with this hanging over our heads.
