It looks like there are some things that not even the Dog Whisperer can fix.

Dog Whisperer star Cesar Millan and his wife, Illusion have filed for divorce after 16 years of marriage. The 40-year-old dog expert posted a message on his website about the divorce, saying that the two of them remain committed to co-parenting their two sons.

Illusion filed the court papers for divorce on Friday, citing "irreconcilable differences." She is reportedly seeking spousal support and custody of their two children.

Cesar shot to fame with his hit TV show the Dog Whisperer where he uses his unique techniques to rehabilitate aggressive dogs. Cesar and Illusion started a foundation in 2007 to help support and rescue abandoned dogs. The two also own a dog rescue which is featured heavily on Cesar's show.
