Lady GaGa Says Her Mets-Game Bird-Flip Was Just New Yawk Pride
Lady GaGa has come a long way in this world, but she’s still just a local New York girl at heart.
The “Alejandro” singer raised a few eyebrows earlier this week, by raising her middle finger during a New York Mets game. Was she going out of her way to alienate her fellow Mets fans?
Apparently not; GaGa hopped on her Twitter account on Friday to explain that she was just displaying some hometown and home team pride:
“A middle finger is more New York than a corporate ambush. I bleed for my hometown, and I’d die for my fans…I guess I’m just a Bronx cheer kind of girl.”
We guess that’s a sentiment worth applauding. Feel free to do so in a manner that GaGa would appreciate.
