'True Blood' Sexy Suckers Will Be Back for a Fourth Season
Fear not, True Blood diehards; Alexander Skarsgard, Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin and the rest of Bon Temps, Louisiana's residents aren't going anywhere—except into ever-sexier territories.
HBO has confirmed that its increasingly erotic vampire series has been renewed for a fourth season. In a statement released by the cable station, HBO president of programming Michael Lombardo announced,
"The new season of True Blood is off to a terrific start, as enthusiasm for this unique show continues to build among both subscribers and critics. We're looking forward to more chills from [series creator] Alan Ball and his gifted team next year."
"I am beyond thrilled to be able to continue working with this amazing cast and crew. This is the most fun I have ever had."
The new season will begin in Summer 2011—which ought to give the writers plenty of time to come up with reasons for Skarsgard's Eric Northman character to get very, very naked.
