Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's Dad Bankrupt

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's father, David Olsen, has filed for bankruptcy and owes a bank nearly $2.2 million.

Despite having billionaire twin daughters, David is unable to make payments on his California home and has until July 9, 2010 to settle the debt or get out.

According to a source, this is not the first time the child star father has come close to bankruptcy.

David almost lost his home in 2009 because he had several tax liens but managed to borrow enough money to cover them, but he's in a worse position now because he's behind on mortgage payments and won't be able to stop the auction unless he gets his hands on $2 million.

wow hello the girls are Billionaires! they ahve more than thousands of millions of dollars people, helping out the man who created them would not be harder then it would for a poor person giving a beggar a sandwich, giving him a few million is a dop in the ocean, some kid stars get screwd by their parents and managers - some kids do the screwing - what mean girls they are - and cheap - in their world a few millions to help out DAD is NOTHING

it seems like i am always bailing my mom out. maybe the twins are tired of bailing him out and he needs to start being responsible.

Sounds like he's living above his means if he owes 2 million bucks. He probably deserves it. If you can't afford it, don't buy it. Next!

Its not his daughter's responsibilty to get him out of his debt he's the one who got himself in the situation in the first place , he should of been smarter with his money yes i agree...well said.

He did get himself into the mess but kids get themselves into messes all the time and parents bail them out. Why can't it work the other way around?
