Cheryl Cole Hospitalized For Malaria
British singer Cheryl Cole was hospitalized this weekend after reportedly contracting malaria during a trip to Tanzania last month.
The Girls Aloud star collapsed during a photo shoot in London on Saturday and was rushed to the hospital.
A source tells The Sun that the 27-year-old singer originally thought her illness had to do with a stomach bug but now doctors believe that she contracted the deadly mosquito-borne illness while traveling in Africa.
Cheryl is currently resting in the hospital and has reportedly been ordered to take off work for a week.
Here's hoping that she makes a speedy recovery!
