'Real Housewife' Teresa Giudice Wants Restraining Order Against Danielle Staub
It looks like the Real Housewives drama continues to heat up off the screen.
After Danielle Staub announced that she was suing fellow Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita's daughter, Ashley Holmes, the housewives are fighting back to defend themselves against the drama-hungry star.
Teresa, who recently filed for bankruptcy, tells PopEater that she wants to pursue a restraining order against Danielle since she is the one who has been threatening her:
Believe me, if we could get a restraining order against a cast member, Danielle would have had four against her already. I never threatened her. She, however, has been on camera threatening me, stalking me and even practicing doing me harm.
As for the accusation of "defamation of character" Teresa thinks it is all a joke: "I think she defamed her own reputation all by herself."
Teresa famously called Danielle a "prostitution whore" and flipped a dinner table in a mad rage on the first season of RHONJ. In a recent episode, Teresa chased after Danielle and hurled insults at her after Ashley ripped out one of Danielle's extensions during a confrontation.
Teresa believes that Danielle will either drop the case or have it thrown out of court and that she only filed the claim to get attention. This wouldn't be the first time that Danielle was accused of such a thing: She filed a case against an ex-boyfriend who appeared on the show and claimed that he was trying to release a sex tape they filmed. Danielle later dropped the case and her ex stated on a recent episode that Danielle had sent him all the videos herself.
Teresa also reveals that Bravo has strict contracts that bar the housewives from suing or filing restraining orders against each other.
So, is it all for attention or does Danielle have a legitimate case against Teresa and Ashley? We guess we will have to wait and see.
