Danielle Staub Slapped With Lawsuit By Ex-Sex Tape Partner
It sure looks like Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub knows how to stir up drama.
The reality star, who is currently sewing co-stars Teresa Giudice and Ashley Holmes, has been slapped with a lawsuit by ex-boyfriend Stephen Zalewski.
Stephen is suing Danielle for defamation of character and harassment after she said on a recent episode that Stephen had filmed them having sex without her knowledge. In reality, says Stephen's lawyer, Danielle knew she was being filmed and had asked Stephen to film their more intimate moments. Stephen's lawyer also claims that Danielle sent Stephen tapes of her, uh, doing things to herself.
In the episode, titled "Play At Your Own Risk," one of the other housewives confronts Stephen about the sex tapes but he explains that they were all her tapes. Danielle had previously tried to sue Stephen because of the tapes but reportedly dropped the suit because she "didn't have a case."
Fans of the show will remember Stephen from season one when he briefly dated Danielle. Stephen claims that because of Danielle's lies people have been harassing him:
Basically I want her to stop lying and ruining people’s lives, she’s really out of her mind, there’s something wrong with her. She plays the victim and says everyone is out to get her, but it’s really the other way around.
Danielle is currently suing her co-stars for defamation of character after an episode aired where Danielle got her hair extensions pulled out by Ashley, the daughter of Danielle's co-star. Ashley was charged for the event last year and reportedly paid a fine of less than $200.
