Did New 'Glee' Star Charice Get Botox At 18?
Filipino teen sensation Charice Pempengco rose to fame on her undeniable talent but now it looks like she is already courting controversy.
The 18-year-old singer became a success when she sang on both Ellen DeGeneres' and Oprah Winfrey's talk shows. The young star recently landed a role on Glee which reportedly motivated her to get Botox and skin-lightening treatments so she can look "fresh" for the camera. Yikes!
Charice's plastic surgeon Vicki Belo talked openly about the procedures in a recent interview, saying the injections would make Charice's "naturally round face" look more narrow and "fresh on camera."
Charice's rep denies the story, telling Us Magazine the teen got the shots to alleviate pain from TMJ, not to make her face appear thinner.
