Lindsay Lohan In Denial About Jail Time
Is Lindsay Lohan in denial that she is going to jail on Tuesday?
TMZ reports that Lindsay is in complete denial that she will be marching off to jail tomorrow morning. According to sources that are allegedly part of Lindsay's "camp," the troubled starlet's new lawyer, Robert Shapiro, is having a hard time waking up Lindsay to the reality of her legal situation.
Lindsay is expected to surrender herself in court on Tuesday morning to begin serving a 90-day jail sentence for violating her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI. However, Lindsay still thinks there is a way to avoid jail although her new lawyer has made it clear that she will be doing jail time starting tomorrow.
Lindsay's former lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, quit earlier this month after Lindsay was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 90 days in inpatient rehab for violating her parole. After Shawn quit, Lindsay was reportedly looking for a lawyer who would promise to keep her out of jail but had a difficult time finding a credible lawyer who could keep that promise. Eventually, she settled with Robert who believes that Lindsay will have to do time.
Hopefully Lindsay will wake up and face reality tomorrow morning and go to jail without incident.
