Katy Perry vs. Lady Gaga: Battle of the Magazine Covers

By: / August 3, 2010

Katy Perry and Lady Gaga haven’t been the friendliest of colleagues in the music industry, what with Perry taking a dig at Gaga’s “Alejandro” video in June for its seemingly blasphemous overtones.

Now the two rivals are squaring off against each other and going face-to-face in one of the most treacherous arenas known to mankind: the newsstands of America. Both singers grace the covers of high-profile magazines this week, with Gaga fronting the latest issue of Vanity Fair and Perry prettying up the newest edition of Rolling Stone.

But who comes out on top in this battle for print-media supremacy? On the left: A lingerie-clad Perry dishing on her religious background in Rolling Stone. On the right: Gaga pleading for peace and looking almost dignified with her newly gray hair.
