Inmate Says Lindsay Lohan Got Special Treatment
While Dina Lohan complained that Lindsay Lohan was being treated "like a common criminal" during her 13-day stint at the Lynwood Correctional Facility in California, a former inmate named Katie A. tells RadarOnline that the 24-year-old actress was sometimes treated better than the rest of the regular prisoners.
Like many other famous faces that have been locked up, the Mean Girls actress was given a private cell for safety reasons. However, a former inmate says,
The entire jail was put on lockdown any time Lindsay left her cell. It felt like we were constantly on lockdown. One employee of the jail had to spend his day searching the entire place for any books by Ernest Hemmingway for Lindsay.
However, while the other prisoners were put on lockdown they did manage to catch a glimpse of Lindsay every now and then:
She didn’t look good. The whole jail joked about how good she looked in her mug shot compared to in person.
Lindsay was sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating her probation from a 2007 DUI conviction. However, the actress only served 13 days in jail due to overcrowding. The troubled actress is currently serving 90 days in an inpatient rehab facility at UCLA. She is expected to be released from rehab in 81 days.
