Miley Cyrus Is Ditching Her Clothes for Charity
MTV reports that the "Can't Be Tamed" singer will be auctioning off her clothing and accessories on eBay, to benefit volunteering advocacy group Get Ur Good On, which connects youths with each other and encourages them to help the less fortunate.
Cyrus has worked with Get Ur Good On before, participating in its "Blessings in a Backpack" campaign, which provided meals to underprivileged children. In a video promoting her collaboration with the organization (see below), Cyrus enthused,
“There’s amazing charities right here in America. You don’t have to travel 30 hours…you don’t have to give a billion dollars. It’s not about how much or how far, it’s about looking at your neighbors and seeing how you can help. This isn’t just stuff that’s all over the world, it’s right here, it’s right next to you. It’s important to get involved.”
