Joe Jonas Threatens Blogger for Demi Lovato Fling Claims

Joe Jonas is threatening legal action against blogger Zack Taylor over an August 11 post entitled “Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas Are Friends With Benefits?!” Though Taylor includes a question mark, he goes on to accuse 21-year-old Joe of “hooking up” with his 17-year-old ex while the two are on on the road for their Camp Rock 2 Tour.

As of this morning, Taylor’s post remains published on his blog. He tells Celebuzz exclusively: “The post will remain up until we have fully reviewed the situation. However, at this time we do stand by our sources, just like we did last year when Demi Lovato’s own mother leaked information about The Jonas Brothers to our website.”

According to TMZ, Jonas’ attorney fired off a letter to Taylor, saying his accusations that Joe and Demi are “involved in an illicit relationship” are “completely false, offensive and defamatory”… and “attempt to attack and devalue [Joe's] good name and reputation.” Joe’s lawyer is demanding Taylor take down the post — or face the possibility of a defamation lawsuit from Team Jonas.

Taylor first ruffled Joe’s feathers last year, when he reported Joe and Demi were dating, a claim they initially denied, then admitted to, before breaking up in May. While Joe and Demi say they remain friends, he has been spotted hanging out with Twilight star Ashley Greene.
