Lindsay Lohan May Be Released From Rehab This Week
Lindsay Lohan was already released from jail early and now she's hoping to get released from inpatient rehab as soon as this week.
TMZ reports that Lindsay's caretakers at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital have concluded that her psychiatric and drug addiction problems are not as severe as they initially thought and it is "very possible" that the 24-year-old starlet will be released by the end of this week.
According to various gossip blogs and tabloids, Lindsay was being treated for bipolar disorder and addiction problems at UCLA. However, TMZ reports that the doctors found that Lindsay was not bipolar.
It was previously rumored that Lindsay was being considered for an early release from rehab; however, it was not known when the actress was likely to be released. The only thing standing in the way of Lindsay and her freedom is her judge. While the doctors at UCLA may suggest an early release, a judge must approve it.
The Mean Girls starlet has only served 14 days of her 90-day inpatient rehab sentence. Lindsay was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 90 days in rehab after she violated her parole stemming from a 2007 DUI conviction. She was released from jail earlier this month after serving only 13 days in prison, though early release is common for non-violent criminals in LA due to prison overcrowding.
