Snooki Pleads Not Guilty to Disorderly Conduct
Snooki is not going down without a fight in her battle with the legal system.
The Jersey Shore guidette pleaded not guilty on Wednesday after being charged with disorderly conduct, creating a nuisance and annoying people on the beach (yes, it’s a real charge) following her July 30 arrest in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
The Snookster was taken into custody in July, after cops witnessed a seemingly intoxicated Snooki (real name: Nicole Polizzi) wandering around the beach. (If you somehow missed the arrest photos, you really owe it to yourself to view them.) Vowing to battle the charges with everything he has, Polizzi’s attorney has demanded that prosecutors turn over every bit of evidence they have for review.
Polizzi’s next court date on the matter is set for September 8. If convicted, she could be fined anywhere from $500 to $2,000—or, as the well-paid guidette would probably refer to it these days, “chump change.”
