Jessica Alba to Star in 'Spy Kids 4'
Watch out, bad guys; Jessica Alba is going to have her eye on you soon. And totally not in the way that you might have hoped.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Fantastic Four beauty is in negotiations to star in the fourth installment of Robert Rodriguez's Spy Kids franchise, Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World. Alba will play a retired spy and mother of three who's reactivated for spy duty when a new villain known as the Time Keeper emerges with the dastardly goal of stopping time.
Antonio Banderas, Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara are expected to reprise their roles from earlier installments of the series, though the preteen stepchildren of Alba's character will serve as the new titular juvenile agents.
The last installment of the series, Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, was released in 2003. Filming for the fourth edition is expected to begin in September and, like its predecessor, will be released in the suddenly super-popular 3-D format.
